MILLER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hey folks! I hope everything&#8217;s swell for you as September flows on. Nothing much to report on the writing side of things. I&#8217;ve been working with an author of his debut novel; substantive edits are new for me but I&#8217;m enjoying this experience. In the meantime, I wait for beta readers to tell me if the new book works.<\/p>\n<p>As for radio, we have a great one this week. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawnwriter.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">K.D. Miller<\/span><\/a> (a one-time Hamilton, for the local folk) published this collection of short stories, <a href=\"http:\/\/biblioasis.com\/shop\/fiction\/late-breaking\/\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Late Breaking<\/span><\/a>, earlier this year. Inspired by the paintings of <a href=\"http:\/\/alexcolville.ca\/\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Alex Colville<\/span><\/a>, the book has gone on to be long-listed for the <a href=\"https:\/\/scotiabankgillerprize.ca\/\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Giller<\/span><\/a>.
