This week we have our second in-studio conversation with David Baillie. The former Hamiltonian drove up from the Boston area, where he is a teacher, to talk about his latest, Little Bones. We also discussed traditional skinheads, punk rock, Hammer City Records, and whatever else came to mind. I even convinced him to do a short reading at the end. Tune in!
ChiZine
E87 with Klara du Plessis and Linda Frank
Hey folks! I’m off on another run down to Windsor doing a reading for the ChiZine folks at Phog Lounge. By the time this posts, I’m probably on a via train on the way home. Maybe I saw you?
Today’s program features two interviews with fabulous poets. Klara du Plessis joins us to talk about her collection Ekke. After that, we chat with Linda Frank about her newest collection, Divided.
Hope you enjoy….!
GET LIT E39 with DAVID BAILLIE
Hey folks! I probably have some writerly musings…but what I do not have is time. So let’s get to the main event!
Today GET LIT features David Baillie. We got to hang out over pints and talk about the old days here in Hamilton, and we continue that conversation on today’s show as we talk about his latest novel released in 2015, What We Salvage, which Baillie describes loosely as “Holden Caulfield, but from the wrong side of the tracks, coming of age in A Clockwork Orange.” Sounds about right to me. Hope you enjoy the show.
